Knowing What Waldorf Education All About

What is Waldorf Education? Haven’t heard of it yet? Well, it started back way in 1920’s and was developed by Rudolf Steiner in Europe. And recently, it establishes more than 500 schools worldwide. Its schools have been in North America for 75 years.

It aims to develop more standardized education than modern school systems that are mostly known of. They are viewing of a preparation of the young adults to become more prepared to face adulthood. With their views they are utterly opposed to the Austrian system, which forms the basis of most public schools.

Their views are based in the holistic human approach that includes body, soul and spirit as man’s components, wherein they involved every man’s aspect as elements of development. They focus on these goals to enhance and put a harmonious relationship among one’s intellect, artistic and spiritual, thus enable to support in the utilization of these in order to promote one’s value of autonomy and inculcate on them the sense of independence.
